I have heard John Carter state as I do that “Northville should continue to grow while being true to who we are with thoughtful development." From what I have seen and observed John supports a thriving downtown, growth of green spaces, and a bolstering of our infrastructures.
The future in front of us presents citizens with an exciting trajectory for the town we love. I have experienced John Carter’s passion in the committees that he has invested his time and talents in. He has taken a leadership role in the future of Ford Field and it's transformation into a Central Park with improved fields, a new welcoming entrance, updated playscape, restroom facilities, a pavilion, gardens and enhanced lighting. He is an active member of the Economic Development Committee, Sustainability Team, Housing Commission, Bicentennial Task Force, Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, and the Art House Board. John has proven to me time and time again his intellect, passion and leadership.
We must all know where we have been, understand the challenges of today to project the trajectory for our future in this Hamlet in the Hills or Switzerland of Wayne County we call Northville.
John Carter has committed his days going forward to the betterment of this community we love.
